If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
When I first saw this guy, I tried to help him up and over the rail to freedom. He wouldn’t go. Then, I tried to get him to go under the rail. He still wouldn’t go. It seemed the more I tried, the harder he would fling himself at the confinement he couldn’t see. So, I stopped. It reminds me of our free will. Jesus guides us, but will we listen? Instead, we insist on flinging ourselves into unseen danger until finally, we are completely exhausted by trying to live life on our own. But it doesn’t need to be like that! If we turn to Jesus, we secure our freedom. Stop fighting and secure your true freedom! John 8:36 “If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”
