Psalm 46:10
He says, Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.
On your mark, get set, go! We are a people that are on the move and on the run! We race against the clock and race against time in this rat race we call life and we have to do it fast!
But why are we so scared to slow down?
What are you afraid of that will catch up with you if you do slow down?
God?
Are you afraid that if you stop long enough to hear the still small voice it will be judgmental and full of accusations? No way!!
He loves you and He just wants to spend some time with you – all love no judgment. So, Slow down. You’re missing out on life, a life full of the promises from God. So every now and then – Stop! Rest! Listen!
