but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out.
“You are not your sister’s keeper.” My mom knew I was coming to tell her a tale about my sister. What I didn’t know was that she had been witness to the entire interaction between us. She didn’t need me to tell her what happened, she knew. She also knew I wasn’t as blameless as I was ready to report to her! Proverbs reminds us to walk a path that if asked by God we would have nothing to hide. Besides He, like my mom, already knows. So don’t worry – if someone seems to be “getting away with” something – they aren’t!
