It would seem I’ve been telling stories for a very long time…or perhaps more likely I am explaining a dream! I just appreciate that my Dad tolerated my tales and encouraged my creativity. As parents we may not be perfect, but a listening ear and a supportive spirit are priceless!!
I am a graduate of the University of Iowa (Go Hawks!) and have my Masters Degree in Education. I am also a graduate of Ministry Training Institute.
I adore my husband, my children, and my grandchildren, but still find time for hikes with a great dog, gardens, things that go fast, and the magnificent splendor of God’s blessings in Central Oregon.
Born and raised on a Heritage Farm in Northeast Iowa, I’m deeply proud of my rural roots.
I proudly served in the United States Army before a lifelong career as an educator, teacher, librarian, writer, and now budding artist.
