Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as though you were working for the Lord and not for people.
Musician Marc Anthony says, “If you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.” Easy to say, but what about changing diapers, washing a revolving door of dishes and laundry, or checking off a long honey-do list? On the farm, hauling manuer, mucking stalls, or cleaning the hen house were NOT on my top 10 love-to-do lists. Yes, there is a huge amount of satisfaction in a job well done, but when it’s tough to muster up the gumption remind yourself, “God needs me to do this! It’s part of His plan.” From the smallest job to the largest project, work for the Lord, because He sees you and your labor of love!
