2 Praise the Lord, my soul,
    and do not forget how kind he is.
3 He forgives all my sins
    and heals all my diseases.
4 He keeps me from the grave
    and blesses me with love and mercy.
5 He fills my life with good things,
    so that I stay young and strong like an eagle.

As summer ebbs away into fall, we feel like the year is winding down. It’s so easy to feel young and strong in the warmth of sunkissed summer days. In fall, we start to feel that nip in the air and know that cold winter is lurking. But Our Lord protects and provides all day every day! Winter may come, but if we are wrapped in the love of God, our bodies may feel some cold, but our hearts will flame with His goodness and mercy.
